Maggie Costales
is a dance artist, educator, and dramaturg based in New York City. Her work as a freelancer is rooted in a deep commitment to collaboration, curiosity, and care — using movement as a way to ask questions, build relationships, and make meaning, she approaches the body as a place of potential and play.

As a certified Countertechnique® teacher, Maggie teaches regularly at Gibney Dance, Peridance, Mark Morris Dance Center, and The Taylor School. Additionally, she has had the pleasure of guest teaching at The Boston Conservatory, University of Southern Illinois at Edwardsville, and Adelphi University. Maggie is a co-founder and dramaturg for PVMNT alongside Christopher Kinsey, and collaborates with Joy and Alex Davis both in their individual work and together as The Davis Sisters. She currently dances for Thryn Saxon of SAXYN Dance Works, and Takehiro Ueyama of TAKE Dance Company.
