Maggie Costales began her formal dance training in the San Francisco Bay Area and earned her B.F.A. from The Boston Conservatory in 2018. While training with acclaimed teachers such as Joy Davis, Kurt Douglas, Marcus Schulkind and Danielle Davidson, she also discovered an interest in dramaturgy and Critical Response Process. Upon graduating in 2018, Maggie and her creative partner, Christopher Kinsey, founded the collective Haus of PVMNT and is the co-director and company dramaturg. Additionally, she acts as the administrative assistant and artistic associate for The Davis Sisters, Joy and Alexander Davis. Most recently, Maggie became a certified Countertechnique Teacher after successfully completing her first teacher training in August of 2023. As a freelance dance artist in New York City, she is currently dancing and collaborating with SAXYN Dance Works.
